SharePoint Developer

We''re looking for an experienced SharePoint SME to join a major UK organisation on an initial 6-month contract. This is a hands-on developer role focused on enhancing and optimising a Microsoft 365 environment, with particular emphasis on SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, Viva, Power Platform, governance, and user adoption. The role will be hybrid with ideally 3 days onsite for the first couple of months, after that the client are open to moving to a more remote basis.You will act as the go-to expert for SharePoint, helping to modernise and improve the existing platform, drive best practice, support governance initiatives, and deliver practical solutions that improve collaboration and business processes across the organisation.Key responsibilities:Administer and enhance SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365 solutionsDevelop governance, policies, standards and user guidanceGather requirements and deliver solutions across SharePoint, Teams and Power PlatformDevelop SPFx web parts, adaptive cards and automated workflowsImprove SharePoint search, site architecture and permissions managementSupport migrations, platform improvements and future Microsoft 365 initiativesExperience required:Strong SharePoint Online administration and development experienceExpertise across Microsoft 365, including Teams and VivaSPFx web part and adaptive card developmentPowerShell, Power Automate and Power Apps experienceKnowledge of JavaScript, JSON, CSS and HTMLExperience implementing SharePoint ..... full job details .....
