SharePoint Administrator and Developer

We are seeking an experienced SharePoint Developer & Administrator to join a large enterprise IT function on an initial 12-month contract.This role combines hands-on SharePoint administration with solution development, supporting both day-to-day operations and a range of business improvement projects. Working as the SharePoint Subject-Matter Expert, you will collaborate with technical teams and business stakeholders to deliver solutions that improve processes, enhance collaboration and support organisational objectives.
What You''ll Be Doing

• Administering and supporting SharePoint platforms
• Troubleshooting incidents and resolving technical issues
• Managing change requests and system improvements
• Developing and enhancing SharePoint-based solutions
• Supporting integration of business applications and tools
• Driving process improvement initiatives
• Working closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and define solutions
• Providing expert guidance on SharePoint capabilities and best practices

What We''re Looking For

• Proven experience in SharePoint development and administration
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Experience delivering SharePoint solutions within a business environment
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• A proactive mindset with a passion for continuous improvement
• Ability to work across both support and project-based activities

Desirable Experience

• Power BI
• Microsoft 365 technologies
• ITSM platforms and service management processes
• Business process improvement initiatives
