Sewing Operative

Sewing Operative - Just Temps is currently recruiting for a Sewing Operative to join a well-established manufacturer on the outskirts of Ipswich in Hadleigh, Suffolk.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career within manufacturing. The role will initially be a temporary position for up to 12 weeks and for the right candidate will go permanent!

You’ll be working within the textile area, operating industrial sewing machines. Working hours for this role will be Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm, 37.5 hours a week and the starting pay rate is £12.71 per hour.

Key Duties:

• Following patterns and instructions to complete sewing tasks
• Inspecting finished products for quality and accuracy
• Working to production deadlines
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment

Requirements:

• Previous sewing experience
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable, punctual, and enthusiastic
