About the Role:
You’ll be working with a variety of materials to produce high-quality stitched products. Your day-to-day duties will include:
- Following job-specific instructions and guidelines
- Sewing with different fabrics including cotton, wool, leather, and industrial textiles
- Operating sewing machines to assemble or decorate garments and other items
- Threading and maintaining sewing machines for smooth operation
- Guiding materials accurately and ensuring clean, consistent stitching
- Measuring and inspecting finished products to ensure quality standards are met
- Some experience with sewing machines desired but not essential
- Ability to read and follow sewing patterns or instruction sheets
- Strong attention to detail and a good eye for accuracy
