Sewing MachinistLocation Southend-on-SeaSalary up to £31,000 depending on level of experienceA world leader in aerospace component manufacturing are currently searching for sewing machinists to work within the machine shop overlocking and sewing cut parts into finished covers. Candidates should have previous experience of industrial sewing. Duties:Using drawings, templates, work instructions and/or samples to sew precut partsCarry out any reworks requiredOverlock cut parts as per instructions/training.Keep the sewing machine/overlocker in a clean and regularly oiled condition and report any faults to the Team LeaderWork within guidelines/instructions to ensure traceability is maintainedCarry out any other tasks where reasonable and relevant, when required.
