Job Title: Sewing Machinist
Location: Birmingham Aston
Salary: £14.00 per hour
Working Hours: Monday - Thursday: 07:00 - 16:00
Friday: 07:00 - 13:00
(30-minute unpaid break)

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Sewing Machinist to join our client team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience operating industrial overlocker sewing machines, along with proficiency in cutting and tracing patterns by hand. You will be responsible for producing high-quality garments and ensuring all work meets the company''s standards.

Key Responsibilities:

" Operate industrial overlocker sewing machines to produce garments and textile products.
" Cut patterns by hand accurately following design specifications.
" Trace designs by hand to prepare materials for sewing.
" Sew in zips and other garment components with precision.
" Maintain high-quality standards in all sewing and finishing tasks.
" Inspect finished products to ensure they meet design and quality requirements.
" Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
" Adhere to health and safety guidelines at all times.

Requirements:

" Industrial Overlocker sewing machine experience is essential.
" Strong ability to cut and trace patterns by hand.
" Proven experience sewing zips and working on garment details.
" Good attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
" Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
