Sewing Machinist - Experienced Location: Milton Keynes Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:30am - 3:30pmPay: £12.71 (incresed when taken on perm) Job Type: Temporary/Permanent We are currently looking for an experienced Sewing Machinist to join our client''s busy team. This is a great opportunity for an experienced machinist who is confident working with industrial sewing machines and a range of different materials. The Role You will be working at a sewing workstation/bench, operating the company''s sewing machines to produce high-quality finished products. Previous experience as a Sewing Machinist is essential. This is not a hand-sewing role, so you must have previous experience using sewing machines in a professional working environment. Experience working on large jobs or items, particularly with leather, canvas or other heavy/hard fabrics, would be highly desirable. What We''re Looking For Previous professional Sewing Machinist experience - essential Experience using industrial sewing machines Confidence working with different types of materials Experience with leather, heavy fabrics or larger items would be an advantage Good attention to detail and pride in your work Reliable and hardworking Able to work well as part of a busy team Practical Trial As part of the recruitment process, you will be required to complete a practical sewing trial using the company''s own machines.
