Sewing Machinist

Kinetic Industrial are proud to be supporting an international textile company in the recruitment of a Sewing Machinist for their Trafford Park site.We are looking for a skilled Sewing Machinist with experience using either industrial or domestic sewing machines, capable of carrying out alterations and repairs to a high standard.This is a temporary-to-permanent opportunity, working Monday to Friday on a rotating shift pattern of 6am to 2pm and 2pm to 10pm.Responsibilities: Confidently operate industrial or domestic sewing machines Carry out garment alterations and repairs with precision Shorten trouser legs and sleeves Repair holes, tears, and frayed areas Reinforce seams and stitching where required Attach or reattach logos, patches, and labels Ensure high-quality finishes with excellent attention to detailRequirements: Previous experience in a production or tailoring environment is desirable Proven experience using industrial or domestic sewing machines Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach Good communication skills, both written and verbal Flexible to work both 6am-2pm and 2pm-10pm shiftsDetails: Starting salary of 25,427 ( 13.03 per hour), rising to 26,474 ( 13.57 per hour) after 12 weeks Permanent opportunity with monthly performance-based bonuses A chance to join a well-established international companyKinetic plc is a Recruitment Consultancy with over 40 years'' experience delivering staffing solutions to the engineering, manufacturing and technical ..... full job details .....
