Sewing Machinist

They are looking for an Upholstery Sewing Machinist to join their team in Wellingborough on a permanent basis. This is a skilled role involving cutting and sewing upholstery covers and components for sofas, chairs, cushions and other soft furnishings, with the opportunity to work on varied projects in a friendly, professional environment.Location: Wellingborough Hours: Monday - Friday, 07:30 - 16:00 (40 hours per week, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break) Salary: 28,000 - 32,000 per annum, depending on experience Contract: PermanentDuties:Cut and sew upholstery covers and components for sofas, chairs, cushions and other soft furnishings.Work with a range of upholstery fabrics, patterns and job specifications.Operate industrial sewing machines to produce accurate, high-quality components.Work with piping, zips and different fabric types.Check completed work for accuracy, consistency and quality.Organise workloads to meet agreed ..... full job details .....
