We are recruiting Sewing Machinists to join our well-established automotive manufacturer based in Kettering. This is a permanent opportunity within a growing production team supplying high quality automotive interiors.

About the Role:
As a Sewing Machinist, you will be working in a production environment operating industrial sewing machines to manufacture automotive interior components. You will be expected to work to production targets while maintaining high quality standards and following work instructions accurately.

Key Responsibilities:
Operate industrial sewing machines including flatbed or post bed, overlock and lockstitch machines to produce automotive interior components. Set up, thread and adjust machines to meet production and quality requirements. Sew materials such as leather and vinyl accurately while working to production targets. Follow work instructions, patterns, and specifications to ensure consistency. Carry out basic quality checks during and after sewing to identify faults and maintain high standards. Work efficiently as part of a production team while maintaining a clean, safe and organised workstation. Carry out basic machine care and report any faults or issues to minimise downtime.
Shifts:

• Day Shift:-Monday to Friday-6:00am - 2:00pm
