Sewing Machinist

Due to continued growth, we''re looking for an experienced Sewing Machinist to join our production team in Leek, Staffordshire.As a Sewing Machinist, you''ll be responsible for manufacturing bespoke textile products using industrial sewing machines, ensuring every item meets our high standards of quality and craftsmanship.What you''ll be doing:Operating industrial sewing machines to manufacture made-to-measure textile products.Reading and interpreting job sheets and production specifications.Measuring, preparing and sewing fabrics accurately.Inspecting finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.Reporting any quality issues, damaged materials or machine faults.Carrying out basic cleaning and maintenance of sewing equipment.Maintaining a clean, safe and organised work area.Working efficiently to achieve production targets while maintaining quality.Following company procedures and health and safety requirements.Working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure customer orders are completed on time.What we re looking forWe re after someone who brings energy, drive, and enthusiasm for producing high-quality work.Someone who:Has experienced operating industrial sewing machines.Excellent attention to detail.The ability to follow measurements and production instructions accurately.Is able to work independently and as part of a team.Is reliable, punctual and organised.Has the ..... full job details .....
