The Role Setting out and surveying works on a live construction project Checking levels, lines and coordinates Working from drawings and specifications Liaising with the Site Manager and project team Ensuring works are set out accurately and to specification Requirements Previous experience as a Setting Out Engineer / Site Engineer Strong setting out experience within civil engineering, highways or groundworks Ability to read and interpret construction drawings Relevant engineering qualifications/experience Total Station experience essential Own Total Station advantageous and will attract the higher rate £250–£275/day without own equipment | £300–£325/day with own Total Station Immediate availability for the full period 19th–28th August is required.
