Setting Out Engineer

Our client requires an experienced Construction Setting Out Engineer, with their own equipment / station and excellent attention to detail, to work with an existing site team in Scarborough, North Yorkshire, to establish positions and levels, check progress and flag discrepancies early, for approximately 4-6 weeks, Monday-Friday.

Responsibilities

• Set out works using project drawings, specifications and appropriate surveying equipment.
• Establish and verify lines, levels, grids and control points.
• Check completed work against design information and record survey results.
• Coordinate with site managers and trades to resolve setting-out queries.
