Job Title:Freelance Site EngineerLocation:North East England - covering multiple sitesSalary:Competitive freelance day rate, dependent on experienceRole Highlights and Packages:4-6 month freelance contractMultiple civil engineering sites across the North EastInitial project focused on setting out a flood wallOpportunity to work across a variety of infrastructure projectsImmediate requirementRole Overview:We are currently seeking an experienced Freelance Site Engineer to join a project team for an initial 4-6 month period, covering a number of different sites across the North East.The first project will involve setting out works on a flood wall, with the successful candidate potentially moving between various civil engineering and infrastructure projects throughout the contract.This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Site Engineer with strong setting-out experience who is looking for a varied freelance role across the North East.Key Requirements:Proven experience as a Site Engineer within civil engineering or infrastructureStrong setting-out experienceExperience with flood defence, concrete, earthworks or similar works would be advantageousCompetent using total stations, GPS and other surveying equipmentAbility to read and interpret technical drawings and specificationsStrong attention to detail and problem-solving skillsRelevant engineering qualifications or equivalent site experienceFull UK driving licence and willingness to travel between ..... full job details .....
