Setting Out Engineer

Job Description:

Apex Resources are hiring a Setting out Engineer to join our team. You''ll oversee daily construction activities, ensure work meets specifications and quality standards, and keep projects on schedule.

What you''ll do:

• Set out and level site works using surveying equipment
• Read and interpret drawings, specs, and technical documentation
• Monitor contractor work for quality and compliance
• Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and clients
• Maintain site records, daily logs, and progress reports
• Enforce health and safety regulations on site

What we''re looking for:

• Degree or HNC/HND in Civil Engineering or related field
• Proven experience in groundworks
• Proficiency with total stations, GPS, and leveling equipment
• Strong knowledge of construction methods and materials
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• CSCS card (or equivalent)
