Setter Operator

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced CNC Miller Setter Operator to join our manufacturing clients ever growing team. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where your expertise in setting and operating 3-5-axis milling machines with Fanuc and Haas controls (will train on Haas) will be highly valued.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate CNC milling machines with 5-axis capability.
• Load raw materials into machines and ensure proper machine tooling.
• Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and efficiency.
• Conduct precision measurements and inspections using various metrology tools.
• Work collaboratively with the production team to meet deadlines and quality standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a CNC Miller Setter Operator in a subcontract environment.
• Proficiency in setting and operating 5-axis milling machines with Fanuc and Haas controls.
• Strong understanding of machining principles and measuring tools.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality parts.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
