Setter Maintainer

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Setter Maintainer to join our thriving UK medical manufacturing company to work within our expanding Engineering Department.We are looking to recruit a Setter Maintainer to form part of a team of four Dual Skill Engineers and four Setter Maintainers, working on a rotating shift pattern. The role will require fault finding, machine setting, machine cleaning, Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and installations, and providing mechanical support during breakdowns as required. All work must be completed effectively, with machine downtime being kept to a minimum, and within target expectations, whilst adhering to current Health and Safety Regulations and best practice.Essential Experience/Qualifications:Experience working in an automated production environmentMachine setting experienceStrong knowledge of Health and Safety practicesAbility to build strong working relationshipsUnderstanding of working in a controlled environmentAbility to manage downtime and prioritiesContinuous improvement mindsetDesirable Experience/Qualifications:Experience of Injection MouldingKnowledge and understanding of quick changeover best practicesKey Skills:Good communicationGood people skillsAble to work to deadlinesAble to multitask and prioritise workloadAble to make decisions and self-manage Able to work in a team and on own initiativeSelf-motivated and willing to learnHave a can-do attitude with an enthusiastic approach to workBasic computer ..... full job details .....
