Service Technician

We’re hiring for a Service Technician to join a specialist engineering business in Little Hulton, working on a range of high-spec equipment used across technical industries.

• Mon – Fri |7am - 3:30pm OR 8am – 4:30pm
• Early finish on Fridays

What will you be doing as a Service Technician?

• Fault finding on mechanical and electrical equipment to component level
• Carrying out repairs, servicing, and maintenance across a range of products
• Working from technical drawings and schematics
• Disassembling and rebuilding equipment as required
• Supporting customers with technical queries and product issues
• Booking jobs and recording work using internal systems
• Supporting stock control and goods in/out when required

What will you need?

• A background in mechanical, electrical, or electro-mechanical work
• Experience with fault finding and repairs
• Confident using hand tools and working with small components (soldering desirable)
• Good communication skills and a customer-focused approach
• Computer literate with strong attention to detail
• A proactive, problem-solving mindset
