You will work in a modern, well-equipped workshop. The team takes compliance and safety seriously and backs its technicians with ongoing training. Key responsibilities Conducting MOT tests in line with DVSA requirements Recording test results and vehicle details accurately on the MOT system Carrying out routine servicing and maintenance to manufacturer standards Completing health checks and safety inspections Identifying defects and advising on necessary repairs or extra work Keeping MOT testing standards and compliance watertight Supporting the wider workshop and aftersales team when things get busy Keeping up with technical updates and changes to MOT rules Essential requirements Currently qualified and eligible MOT Tester A relevant automotive qualification, ideally NVQ / City & Guilds Level 2 or 3 in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair Solid experience servicing and maintaining vehicles Good working knowledge of DVSA standards A full UK driving licence A careful, safety-first approach and strong attention to detail Reliable, ...
