Mobile Engineer Required for a brilliant family run business in Saint Helens WA9. Monday tio Friday Flexible hours Own Company Van £36,000 - £40,000 Role OverviewWe are seeking a Mobile Forklift Engineer to join our client''s team of North West engineers, covering clients across the North West. This full-time role will involve maintaining, repairing, servicing, and modifying a range of material handling equipment. Key Responsibilities: Service, maintain, and overhaul material handling products Perform fault-finding and repairs on gas, diesel, and electric-powered forklift trucks Carry out routine maintenance tasks (checking brakes, lifting assembly, steering, oil/filter changes) Preventative maintenance (lubricating steering and lifting equipment) Battery maintenance (voltage and fluid checks using meters and hydrometers) Respond to breakdowns and minimize customer downtime Maintain excellent customer relationships Complete documentation to company standards and liaise with the parts team Work on mobile machinery (brakes, steering, wheels, lift chains, etc.) Troubleshoot and resolve issues with electrical drive systems, diesel/LPG engines, hydraulics, and common drive-trains Qualifications and Skills Required: Full UK driving license Previous experience working on manual handling equipment/forklifts Strong diagnostic computer skills Experience in heavy goods, plant machinery, automotive, or similar industries (e.g., agricultural, REME, HGV, PSV, construction) Ability ..... full job details .....
