Service Manager - Wigan Mental Health Crisis Space

We are looking for an experienced people manager who has a passion for supporting individuals, families and communities through mental health crises. An exciting role that allows you to help shape the service, you will work to increase reach and drive quality through a strong collaborative approach. A new service in the area, Wigan Crisis Space provides a safe space for those experiencing mental and emotional distress, and suicidal ideation. Forming part of the Greater Manchester VCSE crisis pathway, we are an out-of-hours, non-clinical alternative to AandE for adults to access timely compassionate support from trained recovery workers - the service operates from 3pm to 10pm, 7 days a week. Salary - £40,300 FTE per annum Hours - 37 hours per week (full time) including out of hours and weekend management cover, and support on a rota basis. Contract - Permanent Location - Wigan Crisis Space, Crompton Street, Wigan, WN1 1YP. Office based and wheelchair accessible. As the Service Manager, you will have a strong knowledge of the mental health landscape and a strong track record of effective management.
