Service Manager

We are currently seeking a Service Manager / Front of House Manager to join a reputable car garage in Dulwich. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional to progress their career within a busy, customer-focused environment. Our client is offering a friendly working atmosphere and stable working hours, making this an attractive position for experienced individuals-in the automotive industry.

• Competitive basic salary of up to -40,000 per annum
• OTE of -40,000 with potential for performance-based bonuses
• Monday to Friday working hours, 8am - 6pm
• Rotational Saturday mornings, approximately once every two weeks

Duties-of the Service Manager:

• Lead and manage the front of house team, ensuring high customer satisfaction levels
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, providing professional and friendly service
• Oversee workshop operations and liaise with technicians and service advisors
• Manage service booking schedules and ensure timely completion of work
• Uphold company standards and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
• Assist with staff training and mentoring as needed
• Monitor service quality and implement improvements

Requirements of the Service Manager:

• Proven experience as a Service Manager or in a similar senior customer service role within an automotive workshop or dealership
• Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
• Full UK driving licence is essential
• Local individuals-within 5 miles of Dulwich are preferred
• Prior experience managing customer relations and workshop operations is advantageous
