Service Manager

We are seeking an experienced Service Manager to lead a team delivering high-quality responsive repairs and maintenance services. You will be responsible for driving productivity, quality, compliance, and customer satisfaction while ensuring all work is completed safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and develop a team of repairs operatives.
• Manage productivity, quality, and performance through inspections and site visits.
• Oversee subcontractors, ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards.
• Deliver excellent customer service and resolve complex service issues.
• Conduct inspections, audits, and health & safety checks.
• Investigate accidents, incidents, and complaints, implementing corrective actions where required.
• Promote safeguarding and ensure concerns are properly reported.

Requirements:

• Experience managing operational teams within repairs, maintenance, or construction.
• Strong knowledge of building maintenance and health & safety legislation.
• Experience managing subcontractors and service delivery performance.
• Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience using repairs management systems and performance data.

Desirable:

• Social housing or property maintenance experience.
• IOSH or equivalent Health & Safety qualification.
