Service Manager - Supported Housing Location: Bedfordshire Salary: £40,000 - £42,500 per annum, depending on experience Contract: Permanent Hours: 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday On-call: Planned rota including evenings, weekends and bank holidays Additional: Essential Car User Allowance + mileage The Opportunity We are recruiting on behalf of an established not-for-profit organisation for an experienced Service Manager to lead the delivery of high-quality supported accommodation services across Luton. This is a senior operational role responsible for leading a team of Team Leaders, Coordinators and Support Coaches, ensuring residents receive safe, effective and person-centred support that promotes independence and positive outcomes. Key Responsibilities as a Service Manager Lead and manage the supportedhousing service and wider operational team. Recruit, motivate, coach and develop Team Leaders, Coordinators and Support Coaches. Ensure high standards of resident support, safeguarding, risk management and tenancy sustainment. Monitor KPIs including occupancy, voids, rent collection, arrears and service performance. Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, regulation, policies and best practice. Work closely with local authorities, commissioners and external partner agencies. Oversee complaints, audits, safeguarding and service improvement activity. Manage budgets, income and resources effectively, ensuring value for money.
