Service Manager needed in East London Paying £31.19 per hr ref 133010Full time hours on a temporary basisKey ResponsibilitiesAs Service Manager, you will be responsible for the strategic and operational management of a broad range of environmental services, including:Street and estate cleansing servicesRefuse and recycling collection servicesWaste management and commercial waste operationsGraffiti removal and public realm maintenanceGulley cleansing and flood prevention activitiesMarket cleansing operationsWinter maintenance services, including gritting and snow responseOversight of waste transfer station operationsIn addition, you will:Lead, motivate, and manage a large operational workforce of up to 150 employees through Supervisors and an Assistant Service Manager.Ensure services are delivered efficiently and in accordance with performance standards, service objectives, and regulatory requirements.Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service quality, productivity, and customer satisfaction.Monitor operational performance through the effective use of management information, KPIs, and performance reporting.Manage budgets and resources effectively to ensure value for money and operational efficiency.Ensure full compliance with health and safety legislation, environmental regulations, and operational procedures.Investigate and address service failures, implementing sustainable solutions to prevent recurrence.Build strong relationships with stakeholders, ..... full job details .....
