Thrive Group are delighted to be working with our family run business in Swindon who are actively looking to recruit a customer focused Service Manager to join the team on a permanent basis.
What you will be doing:
- Ensure the efficient and profitable operation of the Service department.
- Maximise departmental performance in line with market potentials through the sale of labour, parts and materials.
- Deal with customer requirements for service and vehicle repairs in an efficient and courteous manner to ensure high standards of customer satisfaction.
- Maximise customer satisfaction through the correct application of the manufacturer''s warranty and goodwill procedures.
- Upsell additional products or services to enhance the customer experience.
- Ensure that both Internal and manufacturers KPI''s are achieved.
- Proven experience as a Service Manager or in a similar leadership role within the automotive industry.
- Strong technical knowledge of vehicles and service procedures.
- Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
- Strong understanding of service department metrics and reporting.
- Understand budget and accounts.
- Previous management experience working with team.
