Service Manager
As a Service Manager at our Balmedie care home, you will play a key role in leading a high-quality care environment where people are supported to live safely, comfortably and with dignity every day. At CrossReach, we have been supporting older people across Scotland for over 150 years. This role offers the opportunity to lead a well-established service while shaping future provision to meet the needs of your local community. What your day could look likeYou will be responsible for the overall leadership and management of the service, ensuring safe, effective and person-centred care. This includes: Leading, managing and developing your team to deliver high standards of care and supportOverseeing recruitment, supervision, performance management and workforce planningManaging budgets, resources and staffing levels effectivelyEnsuring compliance with regulatory requirements, policies and best practicePromoting a positive culture that reflects CrossReach valuesBuilding strong relationships with families, professionals and external partnersWorking with senior leaders to support service development and continuous improvement About youYou will be an experienced and values-led leader with a strong understanding of social care and a commitment to delivering high-quality services. You will hold an SVQ Level 4 in Social Care and a management qualification or be working towards one in line with SSSC requirements.
