Service Manager Location: Exmouth, Devon Salary: £30,000 per annum, pro rata Contract: Temporary, 2 3 months Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week Start: ASAP About the role We are looking for an experienced Service Manager to provide temporary management cover at our 16+ supported accommodation service in Exmouth, Devon. This is a great opportunity for an experienced social care professional who can confidently lead a team, oversee the day-to-day running of a service and ensure young people receive safe, high-quality and personalised support. What you''ll be doing Lead and support the staff team, including supervision, performance management and development. Oversee the day-to-day running of the service. Ensure safeguarding and regulatory requirements are met. Maintain high standards of care, support planning, risk assessments and record keeping. Work closely with social workers, families, education providers and other professionals. Support young people to develop independence and achieve positive outcomes. Manage incidents and respond appropriately to safeguarding concerns. Ensure the service remains safe, well maintained and compliant. Support rotas, staffing and budget management. Participate in the management on-call rota. About you We are looking for someone who has: A relevant qualification in social care, health and social care, youth work or a related field.
