Service Manager

An experienced Service Manager is required to lead planned and reactive maintenance across a regional, safety-critical estate. This hybrid role combines service delivery, technical oversight, stakeholder management and small works across five counties. The Role As the Service Manager, you''ll: Lead safe, compliant delivery of planned and reactive maintenance services. Coordinate supply chain partners and deploy suitably qualified, authorised operatives. Oversee safe systems of work and review risk assessments and method statements. Maintain accurate CAFM records and complete supporting documentation promptly. Resolve operational issues and build effective relationships with end users. Manage small billable works, produce rough costs and control commercial risk. Coach regional teams and embed a positive safety culture. About You To be successful as the Service Manager, you''ll have: Essential practical experience in planned and reactive maintenance environments. An HNC or equivalent experience in a relevant building or engineering discipline. A management-level Health and Safety qualification, such as SMSTS. Strong Microsoft Office and CAFM system skills. Essential technical competency and confident stakeholder relationship management skills. Ideally, experience delivering small projects. The ability to travel and obtain and maintain SC clearance.
