Service Manager

An experienced Service Manager is required to lead planned and reactive maintenance across a regional, safety-critical estate.

This hybrid role combines service delivery, technical oversight, stakeholder management and small works across five counties.

The Role

As the Service Manager, you''ll:

• Lead safe, compliant delivery of planned and reactive maintenance services.
• Coordinate supply chain partners and deploy suitably qualified, authorised operatives.
• Oversee safe systems of work and review risk assessments and method statements.
• Maintain accurate CAFM records and complete supporting documentation promptly.
• Resolve operational issues and build effective relationships with end users.
• Manage small billable works, produce rough costs and control commercial risk.
• Coach regional teams and embed a positive safety culture.

About You

To be successful as the Service Manager, you''ll have:

• Essential practical experience in planned and reactive maintenance environments.
• An HNC or equivalent experience in a relevant building or engineering discipline.
• A management-level Health & Safety qualification, such as SMSTS.
• Strong Microsoft Office and CAFM system skills.
• Essential technical competency and confident stakeholder relationship management skills.
• Ideally, experience delivering small projects.
• The ability to travel and obtain and maintain SC clearance.
• Willingness to undertake Authorised Person responsibilities, with training provided where required.
