Service Manager

Alexander James Recruiting are currently seeking an experienced managerial professional from within Agriculture/Construction or another capital equipment industry to work as a Service Manager for a large supplier of construction and agricultural machinery. Based in West Sussex, the successful candidate will take full responsibility for the productivity and effectiveness of the service engineers and will manage them effectively in order to ensure the smooth running of the service department across the region. The role offers a competitive salary, company car, bonus and great progression opportunities.The RoleReporting to the Branch Manager, your main purpose will be to effectively motivate the engineering workforce across your specified region through effective planning and resource management. Working to region targets, you will take responsibility for customer relations and departmental profitability. The company requires a professional individual able to effectively communicate well with clients and manage their expectations effectively. For this reason, the candidate does not necessarily have to have a background within the specified industry or even in service but must have a strong customer service approach.
