Service Engineers Mate

Finlay Jude Associates are recruiting on behalf of a well-established engineering business in the Whitworth area. Our client is seeking an enthusiastic and hard-working Service Engineers Mate to assist the Service Engineers during the installation, testing, and servicing of machinery on site. You will also provide assistance to shop floor and office staff as required.This will initially be a temporary position with a view to becoming permanent, following a successful probation period.Package and benefits in the role of Service Engineers Mate:Salary £14 - £16 per hour DOE (with potential to rise depending on progress)37 hours p/w Monday - Friday (7.30am - 4pm Monday - Thursday and 7am - 12pm on Friday)Onsite parking - you must have a full UK Driving licenceRegular overtime availableCareer progression and development opportunitiesService Engineers Mate role and duties:To provide assistance to all employees including the shop floor and offices as requested by management.To assist the service and commissioning engineers during the installation and testing of machinery on site.To use industrial Hand toolsKeep records of site visits and generate basic reports if required.To carry out various deliveries and collections using the company vehicles.To assist with customer trials in our innovation centre + cleaning / jet washing after etc.Cleaning of company vehicles as and when available.General site maintenance- painting, building work etcTo ensure all health and safety systems are ..... full job details .....
