Service Engineer

Service Engineer - Field Based-

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Service Engineer to join a leading orgnaisation withint he security industry. This is a field-based role, offering variety, autonomy, and the opportunity to work with a wide range of modern security technologies.

The Role:-

As a Service Engineer, you will be responsible for attending both pre-planned and reactive callouts, ensuring the effective maintenance and repair of security systems across residential and commercial sites.-

• Diagnose and resolve faults across security systems, restoring functionality efficiently.-
• Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on intruder allarms, CCTV, fire alarms, and access control systems.-
• Respond to emergency callouts and pre-arrnaged service visits.-
• Monitor alarm activations and invesitgate issues, taking appropriate action.-
• Recommend and implement system upgrades and improvements.-
• Provide technical support to customers both remotely and on-site.-
• Maintain accurate service records and documenation.-
• Ensure all work complies with industry standards and company procedures.-

Requirements:

• Proven experience working as a Service Engineer within Fire or Security.-
• Strong knowledge of intruder alarms.-
• Full UK driving licence.-
• Good understanding of CCTV, access control, and fire alarms.-
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.-

Additional Information:-

• Field-based role with travel to customer sites. (Company van and fuel card included)-
• Participation in an out-of-hours call rota - including weekends and bank holidays (Standby rate paid and commission paid on top if you have to visit a client''s house)-

Salary ranges from -35-45k per annum (OTE from -41-58K - including 10% bonus, call out and overtime)-
