Service Engineer
Our client is a fast growing, service-based company supporting the butchery, hospitality, packaging, processing, and medical sectors across the UK. They provide engineering support, servicing, breakdowns and equipment solutions for food-related operations. If you''re passionate about engineering, enjoy working in a hands-on environment, and have experience working with both single-phase (230V) and three-phase (440V) power supplies, we''d love to hear from you. This is an exciting opportunity to join the business at a key stage of its growth and development. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 07:00 - 16:00, including a 30-minute unpaid lunch break. A company van, fuel card, tools and equipment and in-house training and development is provided. Responsibilities of Mobile Service Engineer Install, maintain, and repair equipment at customer sites - predominantly vacuum packaging machinery and tabletop slicers. Repair and refurbish equipment in the workshop. Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance on machinery. Troubleshoot technical issues and provide effective solutions in a timely manner. Provide training and support to customers on the proper use of equipment. Document all service activities and maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed. Collaborate with the engineering team to improve product performance based on field feedback.
