My client is a well-established engineering business operating across the UK, providing specialist maintenance and support on access equipment. They are currently looking for a skilled Service Engineer to join their growing team, working across a variety of environments including commercial, industrial and residential sites.

The Role - Service Engineer:

• Servicing and repairing platform lifts and access equipment
• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
• Diagnosing and resolving mechanical and electrical faults
• Responding to reactive breakdowns across your patch
• Working across commercial, industrial and residential environments
• Daily interaction with customers and end users
• Completing job documentation accurately using handheld devices
• Working independently with minimal supervision

Minimum Skills / Experience Required - Service Engineer:

• Experience working as a Service Engineer / Lift Engineer / Platform Lift Engineer / Maintenance Engineer / Field Service Engineer
• Strong electro-mechanical background
• Experience in carrying out PPM and reactive maintenance
• Strong fault-finding skills across mechanical and electrical systems
• Experience working on access equipment, lifts or similar systems
• Professional and customer-focused approach
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
