Long established, UK renowned manufacturing organisation (automotive washing systems) looking to expand its Team capability, seeks bright enthusiastic individuals to join them as Service Engineer. The ideal candidate will have a general understanding of Mechanics, Electrics, Hydraulics and Pneumatics. The Service Engineer role is offered as a permanent contract with immediate start available, with a competitive salary, company van and mobile phone. Service Engineer duties would include: Conduct root cause analysis and rectification on faulty equipment during breakdowns or service jobs Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on company and customer equipment Develop and implement creative ideas to reduce technical failures Install and maintain vehicle washing machines and water reclaim systems for bus, truck and rail operators Carry out emergency breakdown repairs on vehicle washing equipment and water reclaim systems Provide or organise weekend cover and be on standby as required Stay overnight when necessary for installing or repairing machines Adhere to Company s Terms and Conditions of Employment and Health and Safety Legislation Provide technical support to Sales on machine selection, performance, and capability Ensure equipment allocation and stock control meet requirements Communicate additional requirements to Service for quotations Advise Sales and Service ..... full job details .....
