Service Engineer

 

Pertemps Reading are looking for an experienced Field Service Engineer and EV Charging Technician to work with a Manufacturing company in the Reading area.

 

As a Service Engineer, you will be responsible for:

• Organise and complete service visits according to manufacturer’s recommendations
• Position, install and commission equipment at customer sites 
• Provide technical support to colleagues and customers
• Advise Head Office of any sales opportunities during the course of duties
• Feedback quality issues to the office

 

To be considered for this Service Engineer role, you should possess the following:

• Previous experience in a similar role
• Heath & Safety certification
• Customer accreditation (UKPN, National Grid, London Underground etc)
• Electrical. electronic fault finding
• Analytical problem solving
• Physical ability to do the job (manual handling)
