Service Engineer - Diesel GeneratorsLocation: Midlands preferred (UK-wide field-based role)Salary: £40,000 Basic + Overtime + Company VanOur client is a leading manufacturer of diesel generators and is looking to recruit an experienced Service Engineer to join their growing UK service team.This is a home-based role covering customer sites nationwide. Whilst the Midlands is the preferred location, applications are welcomed from experienced engineers across the UK.The RoleYou''ll be responsible for servicing, maintaining, fault-finding and repairing diesel generator sets, ensuring customers receive first-class technical support and reliable equipment performance.ResponsibilitiesService, maintain and repair diesel generators.Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults.Carry out planned maintenance and breakdown response.Complete pre-delivery inspections and warranty work.Produce service reports and maintain accurate records.Provide technical support to customers on-site.Travel across the UK with occasional overnight stays.About YouProven experience servicing diesel generators.Recognised Electrical or Mechanical Engineering qualification (NVQ Level 3, HNC/HND or equivalent).Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.Able to work independently and provide excellent customer service.Full UK driving licence.Package£40,000 Basic SalaryOvertime AvailableCompany VanPensionOngoing TrainingCareer ProgressionIf you''re an experienced Diesel Generator Service Engineer looking to join a ..... full job details .....
