Service Engineer

Bennett and Game are currently partnering with a leading CNC & Precision Tooling Manufacturer who are actively recruiting for a skilled Field Service Engineer to join their expanding team. The role involves UK-wide travel with occasional visits to their Rotherham site.

Field Service Engineer Job Overview
The Field Service Engineer will carry out preparation, modification, maintenance, repair and installation of CNC and specialist precision engineering equipment and tooling. Work will take place both at customer sites and in the company workshop as required. All tasks must be completed safely and to a high standard.
The ideal candidate will come from a strong engineering background, be able to think on their feet, and provide clear diagnoses and reports of faults. They will be capable of determining required work or parts quickly and effectively to meet customer needs.
Field Service Engineer Job Requirements
- Full UK driving licence - Essential
- Willingness to travel UK-wide - Essential
- Proven experience in a service/maintenance engineering role within a precision, CNC, or tooling environment - Essential
- Strong diagnosis and fault-finding skills
- Ability to work independently and problem-solve
- Engineering qualification / NVQ
- COSHH & Health & Safety trained - Desirable
Field Service Engineer Salary & Benefits
- Negotiable salary DOE: -40,000 - -45,000 base (additional OTE available)
- Company van & fuel card provided (can be used for personal mileage)
- 8:30 - 4:30 working hours
- Discretionary profit-related bonus (paid twice a year)
