Our client is an established company providing a range of systems, products and services, mainly to manufacturing and engineering companies. They are looking for a technically aware individual to join their Technical Support team. The company has grown significantly in recent years and has seen strong sales growth particularly in their online platform which serves the B2C marketplace.
The role will deal with a range of products, including pumps and compressors and will support customers with technical information and technical support when required both from the office and on customer site. The position will require an inquisitive mind with good fault finding, diagnosis and repair skills.  Experience in a Mechanical Engineering environment would be a major advantage. You do not need to have specific Service Engineer experience.
As the role progresses and knowledge of the company’s products increases, together with experience in their industry, there will be an expectation that the individual will take on more responsibility. The company has a good track record of developing their staff and providing genuine career advancement opportunities. 
The role will offer a competitive salary with pension and health insurance scheme. The role will require a full driving licence and the ability to commute to the offices located in the Southside of Glasgow.
