The ideal service engineer maintenance engineer will have the following skills and experiences; Previous maintenance, installation, service and repair experience of plant based electrical, hydraulic and mechanical systems, general machinery servicing Good service engineering, maintenance engineering experience ideally of vehicles, plant machinery, large vehicle fleet, any petrol, diesel engines generators, machinery or similar Good ability and experience in interpreting and reading hydraulic diagrams, engineering drawings and electrical diagrams Engineering qualifications in maintenance, service, electrical, electro- mechanical engineering fields- HNC, HND, level 2 engineering or level 3 engineering or above ideally Electrical Engineering experience, electrical bias engineer, electro-mechanical engineer (12/24v DC automotive / Plant type systems preferable Desirable Experience of repairing construction plant, MHE, FLT, lifting equipment, powered access machinery, cranes, telehandlers, scissor lifts etc Communication system experience eg CAN bus Ex forces service maintenance engineers, REME ..... full job details .....
