Service Desk Technician Location: Liverpool Department: IT Operations (Hybrid 2 days per week in Liverpool) Reporting to: Service Desk LeadSalary - 25,000 - 28,000Client: International brandWe''re looking for a skilled Service Desk Technician to join the IT Operations team supporting our clients wider group. You''ll troubleshoot and resolve IT issues, manage incidents, and support colleagues across the UK and overseas offices. This role offers great career development in a growing multinational business.What you''ll do:Provide 1st/2nd line support via phone, email, and remote toolsManage, log, and resolve incidents in line with SLAsTroubleshoot hardware/software issues (Windows, Mac, Linux)Set up new user accounts and manage updates in Active Directory and Microsoft 365Build and deploy hardware (PCs, printers, peripherals)Liaise with third-party providers and maintain IT asset recordsWhat we''re looking for:2-3 years'' IT Service Desk or IT Support experienceKnowledge of ITIL processes and ITSM tools (Freshservice, Jira)Strong understanding of Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365, and remote support toolsBasic networking skills (switches, patching)Clear communication skills and a customer-focused approachDesirable: Linux (Debian/Ubuntu), macOS/iOS device support, Microsoft InTune, Teams, Windows Server administration.Shift and Travel: This role follows a shift rota for 24/7 coverage and may require occasional travel to overseas offices.Benefits include: Pension, Death in Service (4x ..... full job details .....
