Service Desk Lead

to join their team.This is a

hands-on leadership role

where you’ll be managing the flow of day-to-day service desk operations, acting as a technical escalation point, and mentoring junior engineers - while still rolling up your sleeves to stay technical.The Role

Lead and manage daily operations of the service desk (1st–2nd line engineers)Act as the escalation point for complex 2nd Line issuesEnsure SLAs and KPIs are consistently metCoach and develop junior engineers through knowledge sharingCoordinate workload, ticket prioritisation, and client communicationCollaborate with senior technical staff on escalationsSpot opportunities to improve processes and service deliveryStay hands-on with technical support and troubleshootingSolid 2nd Line support background with mentoring or team lead exposureConfident working with:Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams)Windows Server and Active DirectoryNetworking basics (DNS, DHCP, VPNs, firewalls)Remote desktop and RMM toolsKnowledge of ITIL/service desk practicesExcellent communication and organisational skillsWhat’s in It for You
