Service Desk Engineer (including Desktop Services)Manchester/Hybrid, 3 days in the office£30,000 to £35,400Two Service Desk Engineers are required to join a highly regarded public sector organisation with an established and supportive IT team in Manchester. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys being hands-on with technology and working directly with people. It''s not a telephone-only Service Desk role. You''ll provide a combination of deskside, walk-up and remote support, helping users at all levels, including senior stakeholders.Key Responsibilities:Providing hands-on desktop and remote IT supportSupporting Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365, Teams and MFABuilding, configuring and troubleshooting laptops and other hardwareSupporting video conferencing and collaboration technologyResolving incidents and service requests in line with agreed SLAsDelivering a professional and friendly service to usersContributing ideas to improve processes and the overall customer experienceExperience required:You''ll have previous experience within Service Desk, Desktop Support or EUC, with genuine hands-on and face-to-face support experience.Just as importantly, you''ll be brilliant with people.
