Service Desk AnalystRemote (UK)Up to £26,000VIQU have partnered with a leading data protection provider specialising in managed backup, disaster recovery, and cyber recovery services.They are seeking a Service Desk Analyst to join their support team. The successful Service Desk Analyst will be responsible for tasks such as system monitoring, issue management, basic troubleshooting, reporting, and communicating with clients via phone and email. Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.Key Responsibilities of the Service Desk Analyst: Logging and managing incidents, changes, and service requests following ITIL practicesPrioritising and updating support ticketsResponding to and resolving incoming emails and callsMonitoring system alerts and application mailboxes, taking appropriate actionImplementing basic changes and providing first-line fixesCreating and maintaining internal/external reportsPerforming basic application administration (e.g., Rubrik, Druva, Zerto, Commvault) Key Skills and Experience of the Service Desk Analyst: 1+ years in an IT support roleProficient in Microsoft Server operating systems and associated technologies - Windows server / Windows desktop, Office 365, Active DirectoryKnowledgeable about cloud services, including Azure, Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrivePossess strong IT skills with a keen interest in technology.Excellent communication abilitiesExpertise in the following is advantageous but not required: Backup and DR Technologies ..... full job details .....
