Senior Service Designer (SC Cleared)Location: London (Hybrid) Contract Length: 6 months IR35 Status: Inside IR35 Clearance: Active SC Clearance requiredThe RoleWe are looking for an experienced Senior Service Designer to support a high-profile UK Government programme. This role requires someone who can operate at a strategic, organisational level, leading and embedding User-Centred Design (UCD) across a complex, multi-workstream environment.You will play a key role in shaping and improving end-to-end services, ensuring alignment with GDS standards and delivering meaningful outcomes for users, teams, and stakeholders.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and embed full UCD practice across a priority public-sector programmeOperate at strategic and organisational level, overseeing multiple streams of workInfluence senior stakeholders and support evidence-based decision-makingDefine, test, and improve end-to-end operational workflowsEnsure services meet GDS and Government Service Standard requirementsCollaborate effectively with multidisciplinary delivery teamsEssential ExperienceSignificant Public Sector Service Design experienceProven delivery within UK Government departmentsStrong understanding and application of GDS standardsExtensive experience delivering UCD at scaleAbility to lead, influence, and add value across complex programmesExcellent stakeholder management and communication skillsDesirable ExperienceExperience working across large or complex transformation programmesBackground ..... full job details .....
