Contract Service DesignerLocation: Remote (UK) with occasional travel to Leeds/ManchesterContract: Initial 6 months (likely extension)IR35: Inside IR35Day Rate: Competitive/NegotiableWe are supporting a leading consultancy in the search for an experienced Service Designer to join a high-profile public sector transformation programme.This is an exciting opportunity to work within a multidisciplinary Agile team, helping to design and improve end-to-end services that deliver real value to users while meeting complex organisational and policy requirements.You''ll work alongside User Researchers, Content Designers, Interaction Designers, Product Managers and Delivery Managers to shape services from discovery through to live.The RoleAs a Service Designer, you will:Design and improve end-to-end digital services across the full service life cycle.Map current and future state services using a range of service design techniques.Facilitate workshops with stakeholders and multidisciplinary teams.Translate complex user, business and operational needs into practical service improvements.Work closely with User Researchers to ensure evidence drives design decisions.Collaborate with Product Managers and Delivery Managers to prioritise service improvements.Create service blueprints, journey maps, ecosystem maps and operational models.Balance user needs with technical, operational and policy constraints.Present recommendations confidently to senior stakeholders.Essential Skills andamp; ..... full job details .....
