Service Design and Transition Manager

Job Description Sysco (whose UK operating companies include Brakes, Fresh Direct, KFF and Medina) is recruiting for a Service Design and Transition Manager to join the Business Technology team on a full-time, permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Service Management professional to play a key role in ensuring new and enhanced technology services are successfully transitioned into live operation, supporting approximately 4,000 users across the UK business.Our role is offering hybrid working, with 2 days a week in the Ashford office, so you must be within a commutable distance.You will work closely with a variety of internal stakeholders, strategic vendors and outsourced partners to ensure new services and system enhancements are introduced smoothly, effectively and with minimal operational risk.In this varied role, you will lead all aspects of Service Design and Transition across Business Technology, defining and maintaining the standards, processes and governance required to introduce new and upgraded services into production. Acting as the key link between project delivery and operational support teams, you will ensure services are fully supported, risks are managed effectively and service readiness activities are completed successfully.
