Service Coordinator

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Service Coordinator to join a-business within the material handling industry-in-Heanor.-

This is a busy and varied role, responsible for coordinating engineers, scheduling planned and reactive work, managing customer enquiries and ensuring jobs are completed efficiently and on time.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule a team of field-based engineers
• Manage planned and reactive service and maintenance bookings
• Liaise with customers regarding appointments, updates and queries
• Monitor engineer workloads, job progress and timesheets
• Raise quotations, purchase orders and service documentation
• Work closely with engineers and internal departments to ensure smooth operations

Personal Requirement

• Previous experience in a Service Coordinator, Service Administrator or similar position
• Experience within material handling, forklifts, plant, powered access or engineering would be advantageous
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• Ability to manage a busy workload and prioritise effectively
• Confident dealing with customers, engineers and internal teams
• Good IT and administration skills
