Job title: Service ControllerLocation: GranthamHours: Monday to Friday, 8am-4:30pm (40 hours)Salary: 28,000 - 35,000 (dependant on experience) Join a brand-new site opening in September as part of the team helping to establish and grow the operation from day one.As Service Controller, you''ll be at the centre of the service function, coordinating customer requirements, engineer schedules, repairs and breakdowns to keep everything running smoothly.You''ll work closely with customers, field engineers and internal teams, making sure jobs are organised efficiently, updates are communicated clearly and customers receive a high level of service.This would suit someone who is organised, confident, customer-focused and good at solving problems, particularly if you enjoy working in a busy environment where priorities can change quickly.As a Service Controller, you will:Be the main contact for customers needing servicing, repairs or breakdown assistance.Manage incoming service requests and keep jobs moving from start to finish.Schedule engineers based on workload, location, availability, skills and urgency.Keep customers updated, arrange visits and make sure expectations are managed.Log and update jobs on the service/ERP system, keeping information accurate.Put together repair quotes and follow up for customer approval.Stay in regular contact with engineers regarding job progress, parts and technical information.Help arrange parts quickly to reduce equipment downtime.Check engineer ..... full job details .....
